I'm teaching my first full-lengthed class on Sunday, April 14 @ 4pm!!
I have been practicing a 75 minute sequence on my own. The other day, I was so focused and in my "yoga high" throughout the entire thing. It was the first time I achieved that level of practice without having an outside teacher directing a whole class. I was by myself, and there was no instruction; just me, and me.
It was a completely different experience, and wonderful in all its' own different ways.
I talked to a couple other yogis about their first ah-ha moments, and I felt so happy. It was in that moment, we were both sharing our experiences and I could feel the joy bouncing off both of us. She said, "it's so nice to talk to someone about these things, and they understand what I'm talking about!" -- I was thinking the exact same thing. I sometimes feel like I ramble about my yogic experiences, and people look at me like I'm a crazy person!
I suppose when you share the same passion, it's easy to describe how you feel about it, and the other person gets it!
So the lesson I learned was, I need to spend more time with yogis.
I've sucessfully turned a handful of friends to yoga, which I'm so proud of them for taking on the challenge.
